Nothing better than a morning swim in the sea to start the year.
As every new year’s day the patrons from the Barceloneta club go for a swim at noon. The cold sea, a sunny day and a bowl of hot soup help you get started with the new year. And yes, the Mediterranean is very cold in winter!
