A Swedish band by the name “I’m From Barcelona”, half way between bizarre pop and extremely bizarre pop. Coming to a Barcelona near you!
“I’m From Barcelona” is either a bunch of football Swedish supporters, ABBA on steroids or most likely both of them. It features a nice formation of 24 Sweeds singing Swedish bar songs mixed with pop tunes. Check out the videos which have a Michel Gondry flavor.
EMI just released their EP “Don’t Give Up Your Dreams, Buddy”. They will be performing at the Barcelona Primavera Sound Festival on June the 1st.
As they say “Our English isn’t perfect, but bad English is easier to understand on an international level than good Swedish.”
