In this new memory game based on flickr contents you get to play in both sides of the tiles.
Two of my colleagues at the IUA from Pompeu Fabra University, added a new twist to the memory game (the pairs game we used to play when we were kids).
The concept behind Anna Fuster and Dani Julia’s idea is quite simple: instead of using static, and most of the time boring graphics on the game tiles, why not use dynamic, high quality, photographic contents?
They set off to program a simple web interface that gets pictures from flickr.com, the fastest growing picture catalog on the web, to use them as images on the tiles.
By using flickr.com contents not only they get high quality photographic contents but they bring user’s participation in both sides of the game: by playing the game and by creating the images.
The perfect combination for an online success story.
Don’t believe it? A week online and 14.900 Google results for the search memry flickr
Play memry with some of the images in my flickr catalog.

Zero. Zilch. None. No commento.
No. No, you can't... STOP. Please don't go away. Please? No one's ever stuck with me for so long before. And if you leave... if you leave... I just, I remember things better with you. - Dory
