trapped in the paperless, wireless, timeless and spaceless office

We all played arcades back in the days. Some still play old emulated Atari games and some even go as far as programming arcades themseves. Well, friend and mac addict Dave Giribet beats them all: he’s buiding the actual arcade machine!

I just got an email from Dave a few minutes ago telling me abut his new Arcade machine and pointing me to the project’s blog objectiu.net.

There’s all kind of detailed instructions with pictures and videos on how to build the machine (he even goes as far as telling you the bolt sizes).

The machine is not ready yet but if you ever intended building one, you’d better stay tuned till the end of the project. As Dave puts it: “I had some spare time this summer and I decided to build it”. Freaky? Fun, no doubt.

I’ll report again when I have had the chance of playing it.
