3gsm: the b-sides

No Comments Design Interface Mobility The real world

Flip the business card, browse and discover. New trends in business cards usability.

Business card exchange is cool. We all learnt this from American Psycho.

In some cultures such as the Japanese, it is almost a ritual where you show respect and interest for the person you’re meeting.

But the times they are-a-changing. At 3GSM, the worlwide mobile telephony congress held last week in Barcelona, more often than not, you would be given a corporate busines card and instead of reading it carefully, you would flip it to see what was scribbled on the other side, which usually was the URL of the card’s owner personal weblog. The B-side.

We all know the big hit on the A-side (Nokia, Nortel, DoCoMo, etc.), but interesting stuff is awaiting to be discovered on the B-sides, on the blogs from the real people inside the business.

A concept that comes from the good old analogic vinyl days we love so much.

Zero. Zilch. None. No commento.

No. No, you can't... STOP. Please don't go away. Please? No one's ever stuck with me for so long before. And if you leave... if you leave... I just, I remember things better with you. - Dory
